It’s a no-frills, takeout-only spot with limited parking, but service is quick and efficient. The menu features a great mix of local and Japanese comfort foods, making it a favorite among locals. Be sure to go early, as they sometimes sell out of popular items. If you're looking for authentic flavors at reasonable prices, this is the place to go.

Amazing take out style restaurant run by a local family. Great service, super friendly. Food was exceptional! We got the curry udon, house special with Korean chicken and teriyaki pork, and vegetable tempera. Unfortunately, they were out of noodle side dishes when we went, but that was an hour before closing time. Everything tasted fresh and flavored perfectly. Such a convenient option for a bite to eat! Parking available by the shop.

Take out only! I got their tempura udon. The udon taste like it's homemade. It feels nice when you bite into it if you know what I mean lol. The broth is flavorful. The tempura would be better and more crispy if it wasn't sitting closed in the take out box. I still like Marugame Udon more in Honolulu. Other than that it's good to try.

Best place I ate in Hawaii. Katsu is great, but the nabeyaki udon is literally the best udon I have ever had in the entire world and I have been to Japan multiple times. This place takes the crown. The dashi has such a depth that I can’t describe. The color of the soup is dark, you can taste the shiitake mushrooms in it. The chicken in the udon was soft and tender and not overcooked. I still dream about their udon everyday. When I was in Hawaii I went there 3 times within the same week. That’s how good it is.

Another lunch spot fav. Combos are great. Got the Korean chicken, rice and Kim chee. Very flavorful, juicy yet crispy.

Take-out only.The crunch soft toncatchu was super delicious!!Many locals fav place.Owner was old Japanese man he seems trustworthy. Workers nice and service fast.I went to twice during my trip while I was staying near by. (Pic from sunday when I walk by when they closed! )

Chicken katsu was great, and the portion sizes are huge!! Great option if you don’t feel like cooking or looking for something quick.

Stumbled across this gem in the neighbourhood im staying at and I’m glad I found it. I only ordered the soup udon but it was soo flavourful. The udon had soaked up all the shoyu broth flavour and it was very rich. Good value for money too. Will be trying more things
